D.Dan is a Chicago-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer, and a core member of the collective Mala Junta. Growing up in Seattle’s DIY underground after moving from Chicago, he first developed his sharp sense of rhythm as a drummer before turning to electronic music.

His sound moves between raw grooves, trippy psychedelia, and machine-driven intensity, creating dance floor experiences that are hypnotic, high-energy, and deeply communal.

Through releases such as Covert Operation EP and Mutant Future EP, as well as his own label Summerpup, D.Dan continues to push a fast, playful, and experimental take on contemporary techno.
