DJ TOOL is a Denmark-born, Berlin-based DJ, co-founder and resident of the queer party series Mala Junta.
With over a decade of digging in record crates and honing his skills, TOOL’s background spans punk, metal, electronic noise music—all of which fed into his eventual focus on techno, trance, and old-school electronic sounds.
His sets are known for their raw energy, high BPMs, and nostalgic flair—melding harder, faster techno with sultry moments of trance and psychedelic textures. He’s especially renowned for long sets and strong closing performances in clubs and events around Europe.
As a key figure in Berlin’s underground scene, he helps shape the sound and politics of nightlife through Mala Junta, pushing for an environment where styles like trance are recontextualized within queer spaces.
